Our Story
punq started in 2015 with a few GPU rigs in our own office. Bitcoin, Ethereum, Monero — we learned how to keep hardware running 24/7 the hard way: by breaking things and fixing them.
The name comes from “crypto punk” — the cypherpunk ethos of doing things yourself. We'd rather run infrastructure than trade tokens.
In 2022, we moved into proof-of-stake. Same approach: own hardware, own setup, own monitoring. Now running validators on Ethereum 2.0, TON, Starknet, NEAR, Tezos, Polkadot, and Solana alongside our mining operations.
